All children are encouraged where possible to walk to school. An inter-class competition will be held each week. Classes with the highest points for children walking will have extra golden time.

We redesigned our school extension using Minecraft. We broke up into groups. We took a screen shot of our designs, printed them and wrote about them. We also figured out how much the building would cost in minecraft money. Our teacher gave us the prices for the blocks, carpet and glass. Click on the button above to hear Cian talking about it.

6th class have both just completed a Cycle Right programme in conjunction with the RSA and Cycling Ireland. The course took 2 hrs per week and continued for 4 weeks. Gerry Butler delivered the course and finished the course with a Cycle safety presentation. We learned loads!
Girls 13 a side Football team 2017, and boys 15 a side team. Girls recently took part in a Division 1 Cumann na mBunscoil Blitz in Bekan. They won 2 out of their 3 matches! Well done girls! Boys are through to the south Mayo final against Westport today (09/05/17) in Flanagan park, Ballinrobe! Thanks to Pat and Ms. Grimes who have gotten them ready! Good luck!
