Cycling is a great form of exercise, and it's fun. There are lots of health benefits associated with regular cycling. It is really important that we learn how to cycle safely. 6th class really enjoyed the first of their lessons today.
Well done to both our boys and girls basketball teams who both won the Lakeside Lakers Basketball Blitz last Thursday in Lakeside Centre, Ballinrobe! The girls defeated the Neale N.S. in the final whilst the boys defeated an amalgamated team of Partry & Cloonliffen. Many thanks to Lakeside Lakers for sponsoring the blitz. Well done to all the children who entered the Scor competitions recently - you all did extremely well!
We would also like to wish the very best of luck to the children who will perform in the Solo Singing, Ballad Group & Recitation competitions this weekend at the County Final, Castlebar. Ms.Roche and Mr. Flannelly's 5th class have qualified for the VEX IQ World Championship Robotics competition in Dallas, Texas. We are looking for support to get us to Dallas and represent Mayo and Ireland on the world stage. This will be an opportunity of a lifetime for these children we appreciate your support!
