Minister Norma Foley's Visit

We were delighted and honoured that the Minister for Education, Norma Foley visited our school today.  She enjoyed presentations from the school council, visited our ASD unit & various classrooms, received gifts of freshly grown vegetables from our polytunnel and listened to our beautiful school choir conducted by Mrs. Canney.  Members of the Board of Management and Parents Council were also in attendance to welcome the Minister.
Minister Foley also presented us with the Cinealtas Flag - we are the second school in the entire country to be awared this flag.  This is to commend our school on being a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.  The principal, deputy principal and all of our management team feel incredibly privileged to have been part of this visit today.
